Seit Monaten nimmt die Propaganda gegen Flüchtlinge und Migrant*innen in Politik und Medien auf immer brutalere Weise zu. Die deutsche Regierung und die EU schrecken nicht davor zurück, rechte Narrative zu übernehmen. Mit einer rassistischen und unmenschlichen Asylpolitik schränken sie die Grundrechte von Flüchtlingen und Migrant*innen weiter ein. Die jüngsten Pläne zur Verschärfung des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Asylsystems (#StopGEAS) sind nur ein Beispiel dafür.
Auch ein eskalierender Krieg in Palästina/Israel wird von Rassist*innen und Antisemit*innen als Anlass genommen, um ihren Hass zu verbreiten. Ihr Hass äußert sich in Angriffen auf Menschen, die Teile ihrer Identität ausdrücken, auf jüdisches und muslimisches Leben und auf Orte der Zusammenkunft und des Gedenkens sowie in zunehmend öffentlicheren Zurschaustellungen von antisemitischen Verschwörungsmythen. Hier in Deutschland können wir beobachten, wie Politiker*innen Vorwürfe oder Vorfälle von Antisemitismus für ihre eigene Agenda missbrauchen und Hass auf Flüchtlinge und Migranten verbreiten.
Es ist höchste Zeit für eine menschenrechtsbasierte Asyl- und Migrationspolitik und eine klare Positionierung gegen rechte Narrative mit all ihren rassistischen, antisemitischen, antifeministischen und queerfeindlichen Ausprägungen. Es ist höchste Zeit, sich gegen diejenigen zu wehren, die versuchen, uns Freiheit, Solidarität und Autonomie zu nehmen. Kommt mit uns auf die Straße: Wir kämpfen friedlich für eine offene und solidarische Gesellschaft und dulden keine Diskriminierung. Schließt euch uns an und lasst es uns deutlich machen:

Demonstration against Racism, Antisemitism and European Isolation

For months, the propaganda against refugees and migrants in politics and the media has been increasing in an ever more brutal manner. The German government and the EU are not shying away from adopting right-wing narratives. They continue to restrict the basic rights of refugees and migrants with racist and inhumane asylum policies. The latest plans for the tightening of the Common European Asylum System (#StopCEAS) are just one example.
Also an escalating war in Palestine/Israel is used by racists and antisemitics as a reason to spread their hatred. This is expressed in attacks on people showing parts of their identity, Jewish and Muslim life and places of gathering and remembrance as well as a rise in antisemitic conspiracy myths. Here in Germany, we can also watch how politicians misuse accusations or incidents of antisemitism for their own agenda, spreading hatred on refugees and migrants.
It is high time for an asylum and migration policy based on human rights and a clear stance against right-wing narratives, with all their racist, antisemitic, antifeminist, antiqueer expressions. It is high time to push back against those who try to take freedom, solidarity and autonomy away from us. Join us on the streets: we are fighting peacefully for an open society based on solidarity and will not tolerate any discrimination against anyone. Join us and let’s make it clear:
