Rund 450 Menschen demonstrieren wieder gegen die drohenden Abschiebungen und den unmenschlichen Umgang mit Flüchtlingen im Sinne der Dublin Abkommen.

Geflüchtete und ein breites Bündnis an Unterstützer*innen gehen nach einer ersten erfolgreichen Demonstration im März am 26. April erneut gemeinsam auf die Straße. In einem bunten und lauten Protest wollen wir die Forderungen der Betroffenen zum Ausdruck bringen, Abschiebungen in Osnabrück und bundesweit zu stoppen sowie das unmenschliche Dublin-System abzuschaffen. Wir fordern, dass Humanität keine (Länder-) Grenzen kennen darf und dass das Menschenrecht insbesondere geflüchteten*fliehenden Menschen zuteil werden muss.
Hintergrund
Seit Herbst 2013 gibt es in der Stadt Osnabrück mehrere neue Sammelunterkünfte für geflüchtete*fliehende Menschen verschiedener Nationalitäten. Ein Großteil der dort Lebenden hat bereits viele Jahre der Flucht durch verschiedene Nationen hinter sich.
Doch auch in Osnabrück scheint die Fluchtgeschichte für die meisten kein Ende zu finden, ein Ankommen unmöglich.
Vielen (nach unserem Infostand derzeit ca. 80 Personen) droht im Rahmen des Dublin-Systems die baldige Abschiebung in das EU-Land, das sie bei der Einreise in die EU zuerst betreten haben. Dort erwarten sie allzu oft eine Unterbringung in Gefängnissen oder Obdachlosigkeit, Hunger und Armut. Für Griechenland besteht daher bereits seit 2011 ein Abschiebestopp. Für Italien, Ungarn und Malta ist dieser immer wieder im Gespräch. Die Verwaltungsgerichte entscheiden dazu unterschiedlich (das VG Hannover schiebt z. B. nicht nach Italien ab).
Im Rahmen des europäischen Dublin-Systems kann sich Deutschland seiner Verantwortung für die geflüchteten*fliehenden Menschen und für die Einhaltung des Menschenrechts entledigen, indem Geflüchtete einfach in andere EU-Staaten abgeschoben werden. Dort befinden sich die Betroffenen oft in einer katastrophalen Situation ohne Aussicht auf ein menschenwürdiges Leben. Die betroffenen Staaten sind selbst zumeist überfordert mit der Situation und wären auf die Solidarität anderer EU-Staaten, wie Deutschland, angewiesen.
Aktuell stehen in Osnabrück zahlreiche Dublin-Abschiebungen an. Geflüchtete, die hier in den vergangenen Monaten Fuß gefasst, Hoffnung geschöpft, Freundschaften geschlossen und Deutsch gelernt haben, sollen abermals aus ihrem sozialen Umfeld gerissen und ins Ungewisse abgeschoben werden. Dies können und werden wir nicht stillschweigend hinnehmen!
Forderungen
Wir fordern, das Dublin-System umgehend abzuschaffen und darüber hinaus sämtliche Abschiebungen zu stoppen.
Wir fordern die deutsche Regierung und alle Verantwortlichen dazu auf, es sich mit der Dublin-Verordnung nicht zu bequem zu machen, sondern Verantwortung für den Schutz der Würde eines jeden einzelnen Menschen zu übernehmen und Schutzsuchenden auch tatsächlich den versprochenen Schutz zu gewähren.
Jeder Mensch hat ein Recht darauf, in Frieden, Freiheit und Sicherheit zu leben.
Lasst uns für diese Rechte eintreten und unseren Protest in gemeinsamer Solidarität auf die Straße tragen.

DEMONSTRATION AGAINST DEPORTATIONS

Having staged a rousing first protest in March, refugees and a broad
alliance of supporters once again take to the streets on April 26th. Here we want to voice our demands to end all deportations according to the EU-DUBLIN agreement, both in Osnabrück and in the whole of Germany, and to abolish the inhuman Dublin-System. We demand that humanity must not know any (national) borders and that the Human Right must be granted especially to refugees.
Background
Since Autumn 2013 several new accomodations have been set up in the town of Osnabrück, housing people of different nationalities. A large number
of these people has experienced several years of hardship during their flight through several countries. But the flight does not come to an end in Osnabrück, it seems impossible that the refugees might be able to settle down anywhere in the near future.
Due to the Dublin-System many of these refugees (about 80 people as we know so far) are facing deportation into the EU country of first entrance soon. In these countries refugees very often suffer from being jailed or homelessness, starvation (hunger) and poverty. Therefore, deportations to Greece have already been ruled out since 2011. On the account of these inhuman circumstances it is being discussed to suspend deportations to Italy, Hungary and Malta as well. The responsible administrative courts come to different decisions here (the court in Hannover e. g. does not allow deportations to Italy anymore).
Because of the EU’s DUBLIN Agreement, Germany can easily discharge its
responsibility of the enforcement of the human rights for the refugees by deporting them to other EU member states on the external border of the EU. But the living conditions for the refugees in these states in most cases are said to be disastrous and refugees will never be able to settle down, living a human life in dignity.
Those countries on the EU border are however totally overwhelmed by the large number of refugees – they are simply not able to provide even minimal security, accomodation and welfare, instead resigning the refugees to poverty and homelessness. That is why these countries urgently need solidarity from other EU member states like Germany.
Actually there are many deportations going to be processed in Osnabrück
very soon. This affects those refugees who have tried to integrate themselves into the local society within the last months, who draw new hope, who made new friends and who learned the German language. We will not be uncaring as refugees now facing to be torn from their social environment again and are under a threat of deportation into a
precarious setting.
Demands
We demand to end all deportations according to the DUBLIN agreement,
both in Osnabrück and in the whole of Germany, and to abolish the inhuman Dublin-System. We call on the German government and all those responsible not to take the most comfortable way with the DUBLIN regulation, but to take the responsibility for the protection of the dignity of every single human and to really grant the promised rights to all people that are in need of protection.
Every human being has the right to live in peace, freedom and security.
Let us fight for our Human Rights and take the protest on the streets together in solidarity.
